Gohyakumangoku polished to 60% and pressed using the traditional fune (box press) method gives this funakuchi junmai from Shinkame Brewery in Hasuda, Saitama its distinctive name, mahoto agefunenakagumishu, referring to the middle portion drawn from the press. Shinkame is renowned as Saitama's foremost pure rice brewery, having converted entirely to junmai production in 1987.
