The genshu format amplifies the flavor and increases the alcohol level compared to diluted honjozo, resulting in a bolder, more concentrated expression of the style. From Tanba-Sasayama, this robust honjozo carries the earthy, clean character of the region with added intensity from the lack of dilution.
