創業於明治40年。昭和59年開始與附近三家酒造合作共同釀造，此後蛻變為燒酎釀造廠。2003年完全獨立，以「常德屋酒造場」之名重新出發。儘管擁有百年歷史，仍將此視為「第二創業」的嶄新開始。
