Ogonbayashi (Golden Forest) is the premium honjozo label from this Hitachi-Ota brewery, which was founded in 1875 and has earned gold awards at the National New Sake Competition more than 13 times. Long cold-fermentation and locally sourced Ibaraki rice underpin the clean, refined character of this designation.
