Description

Kazenotori Isula Ventorum is a barrel-aged release from Koueigiku Shuzo, named for a lunar feature, using sake aged for approximately two and a half years at sub-zero temperatures then matured in an Oloroso sherry cask for about eighteen months. Dried fruit and caramel aromas lead into moderate tannin-like bitterness and a smoky, clean finish.
