Saikai 134, a sake rice developed at the Kyushu Agricultural Experiment Station, is polished to 54% for this ginjo from Narutaki Shuzo in Karatsu, Saga. The use of this regionally developed Kyushu rice variety alongside the brewery's soft, tea-spring water gives this ginjo a locally distinctive character within the Jurakutaiko lineup.
