쓰지 본점은 1804년 오카야마현 북부의 역사적인 양조 도시 가쓰야마에 창업했으며, 이곳은 예로부터 '맛있는 술의 나라'로 불려왔습니다. 순미주가 유행하기 훨씬 전부터 40년 이상 준마이 방식을 고수해 온 이 양조장은 현재 오카야마현 최초의 여성 두지이자 7대째 가족 계승자인 쓰지 마이코가 이끌며, 고대 보다이모토 발효법을 부활시키고 지역산 오마치 쌀을 적극 활용하고 있습니다.
