- 1702Founding brewer Nakashima Kozaemon Mochinobu began sake brewing (Genroku 15).
- 1953Incorporated as a stock company (Showa 28).
- 1998Launched the 'Shiroku' brand featuring Paul Klee artwork on its label (Heisei 10).
- 2000Launched the new brand 'Kozaemon' (Heisei 12).
- 2004Ended reliance on seasonal outside workers, brewing entirely with in-house staff (Heisei 16).
- 2007Began exporting overseas (Heisei 19).
- 2015Won the Gold Award at the National New Sake Awards for a third consecutive year (Heisei 27).
- 2018Built a new brewing facility and shifted to year-round brewing (Heisei 30).
