Yoshinotomo Sake Brewery was founded in 1877, the year of the Satsuma Rebellion.
2014
Koshi no Megumi Co., Ltd., a farmer-led company growing sake rice with the aim of becoming a domaine-style producer, was established.
2017
The brewery introduced Hokuriku's first state-of-the-art rice-polishing mill dedicated to sake rice, and Yoshinotomo Sake Brewery became a subsidiary of the farmer-led Koshi no Megumi Co., Ltd.
2018
The brewery began selling Kisaki Black 28 and Kisaki Black 50.
2018
Kisaki 28 Black won the grand prix at the NAMAZAKE AWARD held in London.
2025
Kisaki Splash Pink received the top gold award in the Premium Sparkling Sake category of the 2025 Wine Glass Sake Award.
