História
1680
According to tradition, in Enpo 8 (1680) the founder established the family in Omi Hino (present-day Hino, Shiga Prefecture), trading as Hinoya Sahei and traveling as an itinerant merchant across Honshu. The family later opened a branch in Hida, settled there, and began brewing sake.

In Showa 30 (1955), the business was incorporated as Tenryo Shuzo Co., Ltd.
