- 昭和3年(1928年)Heiwa Shuzo was founded by Tamotsu Yamamoto, who had taken over the Yamamoto family headship as an adopted son-in-law of the Edo-period Taniguchi sake brewery.
- 平成元年(1989年)Won a gold medal at the National New Sake Awards (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai).
- 平成5年(1993年)Won a gold medal at the National New Sake Awards (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai).
