Tenbi was born in 2020 when Choshu Shuzo revived the historic Kodama Shuzo brewery, founded in Meiji 4 (1871) in Kikugawa, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Led by female master brewer Miki Fujioka, whose motto is a tiny difference makes a big difference, the brand was selected for JAL domestic first-class service and has built a reputation for sake that maintains its structure and complexity long after opening.
