Kazegafuku is produced by Shiraishuzoten in Aizumisato Town, Fukushima Prefecture, a small brewery of around 250 koku output established in the Aizu basin's southwestern highlands, where cold winters and clean air define the brewing environment. The brand was launched by the ninth-generation owner Eiichi Shirai, who partnered with the natural farming collective 'Mu no Kai' to source organically grown Gohyakumangoku rice grown without pesticides, reflecting a commitment to expressing the land through the sake. The lineup includes both sokujo-brewed fruity and pure expressions and yamahai-brewed versions prized for their depth and sharpness.
