- 1915Founder Kamezo Miyashita began sake brewing in Tamano, Okayama Prefecture, marking the start of the company.
- 1965The brewery was rebuilt and fully relocated to its current site on the banks of the Asahi River in Nishikawara, Okayama City.
- 1983Began producing shochu.
- 1995Launched Doppo, the first craft beer brewed in the Chugoku region.
- 2011Obtained a whisky manufacturing license.
- 2015Celebrated the 100th anniversary of its founding and introduced a whisky pot still.
- 2017Opened the Sake Studio Doppokan and released Whisky Okayama.
- 2022Marked the 100th anniversary of the company's incorporation.
