Fujimasa Shuzo was founded in 1866 in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka, and in 2011 relocated its brewing operations to the Asagiri Plateau at 900 meters elevation, making it the closest sake brewery to Mount Fuji. Every product is brewed exclusively with spring water from Mount Fuji, combined with Shizuoka yeast and small-batch temperature management to achieve clear aromas and refined umami. The high-altitude cool climate and low-bacteria environment of the plateau provide naturally ideal conditions that distinguish Fujimasa's sake from lowland breweries.
