  5. 1988On October 1, 1988, Shimantogawa Shuzo Co., Ltd. was renamed Mutemuka Co., Ltd. (the current company name), absorbing Chiyonobori Shuzo Godomeisha.
  6. 1994On March 23, 1994, the company launched the unfiltered, actively fermenting sake "Yabunotomo."
  7. 1996On May 25, 1996, the company co-hosted a "rice growing and sake brewing experience classroom" with Taisho Town, which became an annual event thereafter.
  8. 1997On July 1, 1997, the company began shipping "Mysterious Reserve," the long-term aged chestnut shochu ownership program that started storage in 1992.
