Meilensteine
- 1675Founded (Enpo 3) as the sake brewery "Masuda Tokubee" and rice shop "Yoneya Yahei" along the Toba Sakuramichi road south of Rashomon in Kyoto.
- 1868Damaged in the Battle of Toba-Fushimi (Keio 4); the brewery was rebuilt and reestablished at its current location.
- 1964The 13th-generation owner invented Japan's first sparkling nigori sake (Showa 39).
- 1965Began long-term aging of Junmai Daiginjo koshu in porcelain vessels the following year.
