A origem do nome 'celebracao' remonta a era Meiji, quando o Japao venceu a Guerra Sino-Japonesa e passou a ser visto com admiracao pelos demais paises. Em comemoracoa a vitoria, o nome do sake foi batizado como 'celebracao'. A cervejaria recebeu premios na Avaliacao Nacional de Sake nos anos 5, 6 e 200 da era Heisei.

- 1885The family, previously fertilizer merchants, converted the business to sake brewing and began selling the sake "Shukuho" (Meiji 18); the name later became the company name.
- 1993The Daiginjo of the junmai sake "Kishukai" won a gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal (Heisei 5).
- 1994"Kishukai" Daiginjo won a gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal for the second consecutive year (Heisei 6); the same year the building including the old brewery received the "Hometown Architectural Landscape Award".
- 1998"Kishukai" Daiginjo won another gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal (Heisei 10).
