古くから「阿夫利山」と呼ばれ、雨を呼ぶ山として知られる丹沢大山の麓に位置する蔵元。山の斜面をゆっくりと長い時間をかけて地下を流れ下ってきた清冽な伏流水を3本の井戸から汲み上げ、仕込み水として使用している。日本では希少な硬度150の硬水は、ミネラルが豊富で酵母の発酵を促進し、低温でもキレのある美しい酒を生み出す。
