Tsuru Ume is a fruit sake and umeshu series by Heiwa Shuzo, a brewery founded in 1928 in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan's leading ume-producing region, accounting for close to 60% of the country's total plum harvest. Launched in 1995, the Tsuru Ume lineup is handcrafted using organic Wakayama fruit and brewed without artificial colorings, acidulants, or additives, in a LOHAS-inspired approach to fruit sake. The range includes plum, yuzu, lemon, and seasonal citrus varieties, each built on the brewery's deep experience blending sake and fruit.
