栃木縣
杉田酒造的釀酒理念是「釀出日本酒該有的味道」。明治初期，初代杉田房吉從新潟縣中越移居至此，被當地泉水（中村泉）的優質水質所打動，遂以此為仕込水開始釀酒。仕込水為地下水，水系屬「日光山伏流水」，座右銘是「工作不惜時間」。
