Seikyou Junmai Ginjo Princess Michiko

Seikyou Junmai Ginjo Princess Michiko
Description

Princess Michiko is a variety of rose that was presented to the current Empress Emerita of Japan, then Crown Princess Michiko, by Queen Elizabeth of the British Royal Family. This rose is notable for its beautiful contrast between dark green leaves and deep orange-red blooms. Tokyo University of Agriculture successfully isolated yeast from the flowers of this rose. Currently, eight breweries, run by graduates of Tokyo University of Agriculture and past recipients of the Tokyo University of Agriculture Entrepreneur Award, are using the "Princess Michiko" flower yeast in their brewing process.
