Description
Shussejo Junmai Kaoru is a fragrant-style junmai sake from Hamamatsu Shuzo in Shizuoka, where 'kaoru' (fragrant) signals an emphasis on ginjo-like aromatics within a pure-rice framework. The brewery, established in 1871, employs locally developed Shizuoka yeast strains that produce the clean, gently fruity character Shizuoka sake is celebrated for nationally. No added distilled alcohol allows the rice's natural sweetness and the yeast's floral notes to define the profile.
