Is the OneSip sake app free?
Yes. The app is free on iOS and Android, has no ads, and you can browse without an account. An account is needed only to check in and save sake.
Does the label scanner read Japanese labels?
Yes. Point the camera at the bottle; the app recognizes the brand and product from the label text and artwork, including kanji-only labels.
Which countries does Where to Buy cover?
Japan, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, the UK and several EU countries, from more than 600 shops. Prices are refreshed about twice a month.
Is there a web version?
Yes. The full database, reviews and prices are on onesipsake.com. The app adds label scanning, menu scanning and your personal tasting record.
