Mizokami Shuzo was established in 1844 during Japan's Edo period in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, giving the brewery more than 170 years of continuous history in northern Kyushu's sake landscape. The Tenshin brand is recognized for its fresh fruity aroma and mellow taste, qualities that have earned it appreciation from local communities and regional competition recognition over generations. The brewery sources locally grown rice and pure spring water in its production, maintaining a traditional approach within a modern Fukuoka context.
