SOTOは新潟県産のプレミアム清酒ブランドで、バカルディやグレイグースの元役員ビリー・メルニクが、日本の伝統を大切にしながら国際的な市場にも訴求する清酒を長年かけて開発し設立しました。70年以上の歴史を持つ蔵元が新潟の山々から引いた仕込み水を使用しており、ブランド名「SOTO」は日本語の「外」を意味し、自然の恵みを称えています。著名なワイン産地の五代目蔵元・三戸部友信との限定コラボレーションシリーズを展開するほか、テニス選手の大坂なおみも投資家の一人に名を連ねています。

2024年11月26日I wasn’t a fan of this one, but I prefer Junmai Ginjo. I did sense some spice in this sake, but I don’t think it had enough depth for me (but I prefer Nigori)

2024年2月4日RPR: 50%. Tried it chilled and room temperature. I found it to have a strange taste on the front end that I didn’t love in either temperature but chilled was a little better.
