Naniwa Shuzo, now in its tenth generation, has been brewing sake in Osaka since 1716, making it the oldest continuously operating sake brewery in the prefecture. The brewery produces around 30 to 40 varieties each year, with most Naniwamasamune sake described as mild and well-balanced. In 2022, the Daiginjo expression earned a silver medal at the International Wine Challenge in London.
