There is a famous sake in the famous water and the firefly village. Ogi City, Saga Prefecture located in the northwestern part of Kyushu. The most important spirit of the "unfaithful trend" inherited from the predecessor's father, and strive for quality -based sake brewing that makes the most of the natural blessings of the local Ogi, which has been valued as "easy" since its foundation. We would like to try a new innovative challenge without fear of failure according to the trend of the times. Began a flour milling and noodle-making business at the current site (Iwakura, Ogi, Saga Prefecture, on the banks of the Gion River) (Bunkyu 1).

Risou Shichida and his wife Tsuki started the sake brewing business (Meiji 8).
1936
Second-generation brewery owner Hideichi Shichida established the general partnership company Shichida Honten (Showa 11).
1959
Under the third-generation owner (who succeeded to the name Hideichi Shichida), the company was reorganized as Tenzan Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Showa 34).
1971
Under fourth-generation owner Naoo Shichida, capital was increased to 18,000,000 yen (Showa 46).
1976
Fifth-generation owner Toshihide Shichida began managing the company (Showa 51).
1997
Launched the "Iwanokura" brand, distributed exclusively within Kyushu.
2009
Sixth-generation owner Kensuke Shichida was appointed representative director (December, Heisei 21).
