Before the large -scale sake brewing began to be performed in Fushimi and Nada, "Tomita Sake", which was built in this area, is carried to Edo, a major consumption area alongside Itami and Ikeda's sake. It is famous as a descending liquor, and Settsu Tomita -go has established its position as the oldest brewing area in Japan.

Founded in Bunsei 5 (1822), in the late Edo period.
1995
Began brewing beer in 1995, shortly after deregulation lowered the minimum production volume requirement, becoming Osaka's first craft beer maker.
2006
Started distilling shochu made from sake lees (kasutori-jokoshu) in 2006, becoming Osaka's only producer of this style.
