  1. 1865Founded in Gosen, Niigata Prefecture.
  2. 1951Incorporated as Kondo Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Showa 26).
  3. 1974Affiliated company Yoiboshi Co., Ltd. incorporated (Showa 49).
  4. 2003Began in-house cultivation of sake rice (Heisei 15), initially growing the Gohyakumangoku variety.
  5. 2006Switched in-house rice cultivation to the Niigata-developed 'Koshitanrei' variety (from Heisei 18 onward).
  6. 2006Awarded Niigata Prefecture's representative sake honor (Heisei 18).
