Tentaka Shuzo was founded in 1914 in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture, and has built its identity around the founder's philosophy: If it's not dry, it's only sake. The brewery holds triple organic certifications from Japan, the United States, and the European Union, making it one of the very few sake producers certified across all three markets simultaneously. Beyond traditional sake, Tentaka has expanded into honey fermented with sake yeast and ginjo-style moromi, consistently pushing the boundaries of what the Nihonshu category can include.
