- 1972On the 100th anniversary of novelist Toson Shimazaki's birth, the 5th-generation head renamed the brand 'Yoakemae' after Shimazaki's novel, with usage permission granted by Kusuo Shimazaki, first chairman of the Shimazaki Toson Memorial Museum.
