Takakiya Junmai Ginjo is the core ginjo expression of Hamashima Shuzo's Takakiya lineup, brewed in small batches at the all-handmade Bungo-Ono brewery in Oita Prefecture. Since recommencing brewing in 1997, the fifth-generation family has championed a food-friendly style that balances aromatic elegance with enough structure to carry through a full meal. Estate-grown rice and the clean water of the Bungo highlands underpin its reliable, nuanced character year after year.
