Released under the Sakata Jizake Sanjurokuninshu label, this sake from Kikuisami in Sakata is a tribute to the regional brewing culture of the Shonai area, situated between Mount Chokai and the Mogami River. The brand takes its name from the thirty-six merchants who governed the historic free city of Sakata.
