Founder Osakaya Chobei began brewing sake in Imazu village.
1884
Renamed the sake brand from 'Manryo' to 'Ozeki' and filed for trademark registration.
1964
Launched 'One Cup Ozeki' on October 10.
1979
Established Ozeki San Benito, Inc. in Hollister, California, USA.
1991
Changed the company name to Ozeki Corporation and established a new corporate philosophy and logo.
2015
Launched the junmai sake 'Rai', brewed with the original 'Mirei' brewing method.
2021
Launched the 'Sohke Osakaya' brand to mark the 310th anniversary of the company's founding.
2024
Relocated the Imazu Lighthouse to the opposite side of Imazu Port.
