Fondée la première année de Keio en 1865. Kazukichi Yamatoya brasse du sake. Par la suite, 'Yamatoya' devint le nom de 'Kazuyoshi' pour les générations suivantes. L'ancien président est le septième 'Kazuyoshi'.

Incorporated as Kondo Shuzo Co., Ltd. (Showa 26).
1974
Affiliated company Yoiboshi Co., Ltd. incorporated (Showa 49).
2003
Began in-house cultivation of sake rice (Heisei 15), initially growing the Gohyakumangoku variety.
2006
Switched in-house rice cultivation to the Niigata-developed 'Koshitanrei' variety (from Heisei 18 onward).
2006
Awarded Niigata Prefecture's representative sake honor (Heisei 18).
