A honjozo from Touhoku Meijo in Sakata, Yamagata, whose name evokes the working songs of sailors on the Mogami River cargo route that once made the port city prosperous. The brewery applies its kimoto method to this grade, producing a robust, full-flavored sake with a clean, dry finish.
