1916
Niseko Shuzo was founded (operated as an individual proprietorship at the time).
1948
Tanaka Shuzoten Ltd. was established.
1971
The company changed its name from Tanaka Shuzoten Ltd. to Niseko Shuzo Ltd., with Minato Mizuguchi becoming president.
1980
The first Jizake Niseko Kai (local sake fan club event) was held.
2011
The brewery won its first gold medal at the Sapporo Regional Taxation Bureau's new sake competition.
2015
The brewery shifted to using 100% Hokkaido-grown rice for all of its production.
2018
Annual production volume exceeded 80,000 bottles.
2024
The brewery received the Hokkaido Industrial Contribution Award.
