Momokawa, first brewed in 1997, is recognized as America's original craft sake brand, produced by SakeOne in Forest Grove, Oregon, the only sake brewery in the state. SakeOne was founded in 1992 with an uncompromised focus on quality, and its Momokawa range was developed specifically for the American palate, emphasizing bold, saturated flavors suited to pairing with the richer food traditions of the United States. The brewery offers an organic expression within the Momokawa lineup and operates one of the few sake production facilities in the country.
