渡邊酒造於1907年創立於岡山縣倉敷市龜島新田,該地在江戶時代經填海造地而形成。酒造的海鼠壁酒倉、磚砌煙囪及店頭懸掛的杉玉等昔日風貌至今仍保留完整。第四代當家渡邊比織近年在「多品種小批量」的精釀路線上不斷努力,並迎來新任杜氏藤井,以「倉敷純米酒新時代」為名的三款新品拉開了面向國內外市場的新篇章。
