Koyama City, which was blessed with the underground water of the Nikko Mountains, was a delicious rice -producing area, and has been around for a long time. Even today, there are five sake breweries in the city, which offers high quality local sake. Wakakoma Sake Brewery is one of them, and was founded in 1860 (1860). It is the oldest sake brewery in Koyama City, a tangible cultural property of the country.
