Description

Makino Shuzo's nigori genshu is an unfiltered, full-strength sake with the characteristic milky appearance and luscious texture of unpressed rice solids still suspended in the liquid. The undiluted strength amplifies the natural sweetness and creamy richness of the unfiltered style, balanced by a refreshing lactic acidity that keeps the finish lively. From Gunma's oldest brewery, this is an indulgent, expressive sake well suited to chilled drinking alongside spicy or richly seasoned dishes.
