Yamada Nishiki at 50% polishing is used for this junmai ginjo from Sekaiitto, which earned consecutive gold prizes at the Wine Glass Sake Awards in 2011 and 2012, and a top gold in 2013. Described as having a fragrant, fruity aroma with a pleasantly firm body and a crisp, clean aftertaste.

Kumagusu Minami (Minamikumagusu -1867-1941), which is said to be a giant of knowledge, has achieved great achievements in the world's botanical science (especially slime molds) and folklore, and also protects the Kumano forest registered as a World Heritage Site. It is the child of the world's founder, Yaemon Minamikata.
