The flagship premium daiginjo in Sekaiitto's Minakata lineup, Gokusen won sole gold for Wakayama Prefecture at the 2013 National New Sake Appraisal and also took gold at the 2013 Wine Glass Sake Awards. Yamada Nishiki is polished to 35%, producing a sake of exceptional refinement with a subtle, full aroma and an elegant, fluid finish.

Kumagusu Minami (Minamikumagusu -1867-1941), which is said to be a giant of knowledge, has achieved great achievements in the world's botanical science (especially slime molds) and folklore, and also protects the Kumano forest registered as a World Heritage Site. It is the child of the world's founder, Yaemon Minamikata.
