Kenkonichi Honjozo uses Kura no Hana, a brewing rice variety developed specifically in Miyagi Prefecture, polished to 60%. Brewed in small batches at Onuma Sake Brewery in Murata, Miyagi, the sake follows a house style of restrained aroma, mild umami, and a clean finish.
