Description

Furisode Tarekuchi Genshu is an undiluted sake drawn directly from the pressing process at Kitagawahonke, with no water added after fermentation, resulting in a higher natural alcohol content and concentrated flavor. Tarekuchi refers to the direct draw from the pressing vessel, capturing the most immediate expression of the fermentation. Produced in Fushimi, the soft water base gives this genshu a smoother profile than similarly concentrated sake from harder-water regions.
