Akishika Nosefuku Jummaishu - Junmai sake from Akishikashuzou Yuugengaisha, Osaka
Description

Nosefuku takes its name from Nose, the mountain town in northern Osaka where Akishika Shuzou has been brewing since 1886, and references the character of that specific local terroir. Brewed from organically grown rice farmed on the brewery's own land, this Junmai is produced without charcoal filtration or dilution, expressing the dry, umami-forward profile that defines Akishika's output. The sake reflects Oku-san's conviction that sake should speak through texture and finish rather than showy aromatics.
