Koshinohakucho, whose name translates to Swan of Koshino (the historical name for the Niigata region), is brewed by Niigata Daiichi Shuzo, founded in 1922 in the mountainous Uragawara district of Joetsu City, one of Japan's heaviest snowfall zones. The brewery sources rice from terraced mountain paddies and draws on pristine underground water from the surrounding peaks. Since its founding, Niigata Daiichi has maintained a commitment to brewing sake that conveys peace of mind and emotional depth to the drinker.
