八木酒造部创业初期以棉花和酱油制造为主,建立约百年后,于1935年迁至城内水质最佳的旭町。战时仓库曾付之一炬,但凭借传统之力克服重重困难,延续至今。创始人八木春平以家乡的"丹波屋"为起点,取名门宝剑"正宗"的锋利之意,将品牌命名为"大和誠正宗"。
