Tokubetsu Honjozo Chokarakuchi from Kato Kahachiro Shuzo is an extremely dry sake, with chokarakuchi indicating a high nihonshu-do (sake meter value) well above typical dry classifications. Brewed in Yamagata with a small addition of distilled alcohol for the honjozo style, it delivers a sharp, clean finish with minimal sweetness. The cold Tohoku climate supports the crisp, refreshing dryness of this expression.
